• 21c Austin will be located on a three and a half acre site at East Cesar Chavez and Red River Streets, along the banks of the Waller Creek
  
  
• Work is scheduled to start in early 2009 on a 16-story 21c Museum Hotel, which will have 243 rooms and double as a contemporary art museum with exhibition free and open to the public 365 days per year
  
  
• The hotel will be followed by a 49-story residential tower with 295 units and, in the future, a 425,000 square foot tower with offices and shops or more housing
  
  
• The location allows the project to include a park space, a sculpture garden, signature spa, retail, indoor/outdoor meeting space, and additional parking
  
  
• The total investment in downtown Austin is $350 million
  
  
• The projects, including an underground parking garage, currently totals over 1 million square feet
